Today is the first time I had time to thrift on a Saturday in a long time. I fully took advantage of having Saturdays off for now on. New job perks! The goal for today was to find some things for reselling. I passed on a few good finds because they were not affordable. Twenty dollars for Lululemon really eats into my profit margin! I was on the lookout for Halloween houses and decor, Victoria’s Secret and anything for 50% off or a 1.00 sale.
The first thing I recommend anyone to do is go to the nicest area in town and ask the cashier what color tags are on sale that day. Today’s tags were 50% off pink and 1.00 purple tags. I scored a 118 dollar purse for 1.00 with the purple tag!
The next thing I was super excited to find was this carnival glass cup! I LOVE carnival glass. This is a really I common pattern in a common color but I scooped it up anyway! I feel like vintage colored glass of any sort is so rare here in Arizona. Not many snowbirds are packing up all their vintage glassware and moving it with them all the way out here.

I also enjoy collecting Mardi Grs beads. I usually find them fairly cheap here. I was raised in Mobile, Al most of my life. People from there treat Mardi Gras like the big deal it should be. I even plan my vacations to go home around Mardi Gras! I like to explain that Mobile Mardi Gras is like a tamer cousin of the New Orleans version. It still has drinking, throws and floats. The goal is to always catch the premium beads and to get a couple Moon Pies. I had a few unexpected finds in today’s grab bag. I only paid a buck. 🤷♀️

My other goal was to find things to resell. I have a ton of graphic tank tops in this bag that I paid anywhere from 1-3 dollars for. I am excited to list these bad boys tomorrow! I Some of my items are new with tag. I always want to have more items with tags on them. Especially when sourcing Victoria’s Secret bra’s. I usually don’t pay 9 dollars for anything but the comps on the bra are at 35-45 dollars. That is certainly worth my time. I have a death pile to list. The best part of thrifting today is I made another reseller friend! Do you know how hard it is to make friends as an adult!? I tried to take something out of her cart thinking it was go backs. I was completely embarrassed and apologized profusely.
